Carey Families,
Quarter 2 is here! While we are beginning a new quarter, our semester journey continues. Quarter 1 gave our Braves valuable information about what is working, where they have grown, and where they may need to make some changes.
Now comes the important part: What will you do next?
This is the perfect time for students to check their grades, reflect on their habits, set a goal, and make a plan for improvement. A grade today does not have to be the grade a student finishes the semester with. There is still time to ask for help, strengthen habits, complete quality work, and make positive choices every day.
This week, we encourage every Brave to ask:
What am I proud of from Quarter 1?
What is ONE thing I want to improve?
What is my plan to make it happen?
And remember, growth isn't only about grades. Being on time, putting the phone away, treating others with kindness and respect, asking for help, participating in class, and taking responsibility for your choices all matter.

Choose ONE goal for Quarter 2 and identify the first step you can take toward it this week.
Don't just hope Quarter 2 will be better.
Make a plan. Take the first step. Keep showing up.
