Hello parents and Guardians, 

Welcome to Carey Junior High! We look forward to meeting you and your student. To ensure a smooth registration and transition to our school, please complete the following steps below.  

Step 1 – Complete the online registration – Complete your family online register.laramie1.org here 

Step 2 – Contact our Records Clerk, Sarah Bechtholdt, to schedule an appointment and meet with the school counselor.

Step 3 – Bring the required documents to your appointment at Carey Jr High: 

• Birth Certificate 

• Immunizations 

• Proof of address  
  (electric bill dated within 30 days, mortgage statement dated within 30 days, or a lease) 

• Any court documents that the school may need (adoption, Legal Guardianship, or Legal Name Change) 

• Please bring check out grades/transcript from previous school
