The Wyoming Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction has been asked to write a report on the status of all schools in the state.  As part of this report they are collecting input from educators, parents and the community.  You thoughts and feedback are essential to this process and could be extremely helpful to the development of future educational policy.  Please take a few minutes to respond.

Below are links to the three different surveys: Educator, Parent, and Community Member.  Please fill out the survey(s) most applicable to you.

More Information to be announced here for the new 2013-14 Online School Registration

Parents and guardians will see some changes to the process for their child’s school registration this year as Laramie County School District 1 converts to a different online system that utilizes a new household registration form.

Household registration will be completed April 22-May 24 using an online portal. Parents/guardians do not need to come into the school this spring as an e-mail will be sent with information to access the portal. Those without an e-mail address should contact their school.

Families with incoming kindergarten students participated in Kindergarten Round-up. Those who missed the round-up date should contact their child's attendance area school as soon as possible.

Proof of address verification for all students will take place Aug. 13-14 at the student’s attendance-area school. At this time, parents/guardians will need to bring a utility bill, lease agreement or signed contract with their name/address dated within 30 days of submission. Also, at this time, secondary student schedules will be released if household registration is complete.

Parents/guardians of returning students have an established space-priority that will not change as long as they attend address verification in August. School placement for families of incoming kindergarteners or new elementary students will be tied to the initial visit to a school for registration (Round-up or Aug. 13-14.)
