High School Lunch
Central and East high schools observe "offer vs. serve."  Students may select at least three of five food items offered, for a complete meal.  The items offered are: sandwiches - hamburger with trimmings, chicken patty with lettuce and mayonnaise, ham and cheese, submarines, mighty ribs or grilled cheese; Papa Johns's Pizza; burrito; French Fries; tater tots; potato wedges; salad with dressing; fresh vegetables; fresh and canned fruit; cookies; yogurt; chocolate, skim or 1 percent milk.

Jr. and Sr. High School Breakfast
Breakfast bars are available at 7 a.m. each day.  The items offered are: breakfast sandwiches; fresh cinnamon rolls; cereal; sausage or ham; pancakes; waffles or french toast; fresh or canned fruit; breakfast burritos; juices; milk.

Elementary Breakfast Baskets
Breakfast Baskets allow students to select from a variety of grain products to go with their milk, fruit and juice at breakfast.  Grain products include: cereal, a mini loaf (blueberry or banana), breakfast bar (Choc chip or apple cinnamon), pancakes, pop tart, bagel and cream cheese, or a fortified sweet roll.  An additional grain is also available daily.  These include: animal crackers, graham crackers, pretzels, banana bread and pumpkin bread.

Health Bars
In addition to the entreés listed on the lunch menu, students serve themselves from our Health Bars.   This year the menu will also list the items we are planning to serve on the health bar.  The Health Bars are designed to emphasize foods that support the Food Pyramid. Each day on the Health Bars, students can select from 1-2 choices of grain products, 2 kinds of fruit, and fresh vegetables in the form of salad or veggie trays. Fat free ranch dressing is served as the veggie dip. For example, the choices on the Health Bar may include baby carrots, cherry shape-up, bananas, and animal crackers. Students are encouraged to take what they can eat from the Health Bar. "Seconds" are offered from the Health Bar, so please do not take more than you can eat.
