In order to participate in a school sport, you must have a current physical dated after May 1st, 2019.  You must also have proof of insurance.

2020-2021 Course Request Information

Welcome to 2020!  It is hard to believe, but we need to start looking to next year.  Over the next month, 6th - 8th Graders will be selecting courses for the 2020-2021 school year.  Complete information will be mailed home by Friday, January 10th.  However, below are the key details for each grade level.

  • 6th Grade to 7th Grade:
    • Course Request Booklets & Sheets will be distributed to current 6th graders at their respective schools on January 17th through January 24th.
    • Parent Meetings are available on Monday, 1/27, and Tuesday, 1/28, at Carey Junior High in the Auditorium at 7:00 pm.
    • Course Request Sheets will be picked up at their respective schools starting on 1/29.

  • 7th Grade to 8th Grade:
    • Course Request Booklets & Sheets will be distributed to current 7th graders through their homerooms the week of January 26th.
    • Course Request sheets need to be returned to your homeroom teacher no later than February 6th.

  • 8th Grade to 9th Grade:
    • T-Bird Rush will be at East High School on Wednesday, January 15th from 6 - 8 pm.  This is where 8th graders can learn about all of the elective choices at East High School.
    • East Staff will present course request information in the Carey Cafeteria on Thursday, January 23rd, starting at 5:30 pm.  Dinner is provided.  Please RSVP to Jaclyn at 771-2580.
    • East High Counselors will work with 8th graders in their US History Classes from January 29th to February 5th.  This is when they will select courses for 20-21 and complete their 4-year high school plans.
